Pricing & Deployment

Transparent pricing of 3% of all sales processed through ShredderPOS plus CC processing fees. You decide how much of the fee you want to absorb or pass onto your guests.

Deployment is designed to be fast. You can bulk-upload your entire product catalog (including images) via spreadsheet, and the system works with off-the-shelf plug-and-play hardware. There are no proprietary terminals to install and no lengthy IT projects required.

Shopping Experience

Blue works two ways: as a shopper-facing agent that guides guests through finding, recommending and purchasing the right products and as an operator-facing agent that helps staff build products, find information and complete administrative tasks.
Two faces, one name built right into the platform.

No passwords are required. Guests verify their identity quickly and securely via SMS or email — fast, phishing-resistant, and friction-free.

Yes. The Friends & Family feature lets one account holder purchase products for family members, dependents, and friends. This is all managed under a single account in one checkout.

Guests can complete rental forms, including sizing, DIN settings, ability level, and medical info, before they arrive. This eliminates paperwork at pickup and speeds up the rental counter for everyone.

ShredderPOS lets you apply date- and demand-driven pricing rules when you want. Guests can also use the calendar picker to view rates at a glance and select single days or multi-day date ranges visually.

Payments

ShredderPOS is powered by Stripe and supports:

  • Credit & debit cards
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay
  • Link (Stripe’s fast checkout)
  • Klarna & Afterpay (buy now, pay later)
  • Gift cards

Yes. Split payment support lets guests combine a gift card, a credit card, and a digital wallet all in a single transaction.

Yes. All fees and taxes are calculated automatically at checkout. No manual math required from staff, and guests won’t encounter surprise charges.

Yes. All payment processing is Stripe-powered and PCI-compliant with built-in fraud protection. Shredder never stores raw card data.

RFID & access

Yes. Full RFID support is built into the platform. Guests tap a wristband or card at the gate to access the slopes.  No paper tickets, and no lift-line bottlenecks.

Shredder offers attractive custom-branded RFID wristbands featuring your resort’s logo. Guests often keep them as souvenirs, putting your logo on every wrist every day of the season.

Yes. The wristband supports cashless on-mountain purchases, so guests can tap to pay for food, rentals, and other products anywhere on the hill.

Each wristband is linked to a unified guest identity that connects their lift tickets, season passes, rental bookings, and lesson reservations to the same profile.

Hardware

No proprietary hardware is required. ShredderPOS runs on standard Windows or iOS devices and works with off-the-shelf card readers, receipt printers, and cash drawers. This keeps costs down and makes sourcing replacements easy.

Yes. Kiosk mode enables self-service waiver signing and lift-ticket activation at the base lodge, reducing lines and freeing up staff for higher-value interactions.

Yes. The per-station catalog feature lets you configure each POS terminal to display only the products it should sell. This helps with accidental cross-selling and in keeping staff workflows clean.

Admin & data

Yes. ShredderPOS is a fully cloud-based platform, hosted, monitored, and updated automatically. There are no on-premises servers to manage and no patch weekends for your IT staff.

You do. All customers, orders, waivers, and related data belong entirely to your resort. It is exportable at any time and is never sold or shared with third parties.

The ShredderPOS admin dashboard provides reporting on sales, revenue, channel performance, and customer data. You can also schedule pricing rules, discounts, and availability windows in advance for the entire season

Waivers can be completed on any device. Including phone, tablet, kiosk, or desktop. Once signed, they are enforced everywhere across the platform and stored in each guest’s dashboard for easy access.
